While we are all for “healthy body, healthy mind” it is good to remember that your jewellery does not like exercise.
Imagine what your ring has to go through every time you hit the treadmill. Or the weights. First of all, perspiration can weaken the inlay of your ring. It is a sad fact that our sweat contains impurities that can attack the metal. And if it is a really strenuous workout, your ring can bend and change its shape or even worse, the setting can bend causing your stone/s to fall out.
If you don’t take your city car on a 4 x 4 trail, why would you subject your jewellery to unnecessary wear and tear? Our jewellery is an extension of our personalities, it tells the world who we are, what we have achieved and where we are in our journey. Let it sparkle the way it was meant to do!
